option availableWhether you’re starting a new career, upgrading your skills or building on the experience you already have, Eastern College’s Accounting and Payroll Administrator diploma program can help you take the next step with confidence. You’ll graduate with practical accounting and payroll training and be eligible to pursue the Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation through the National Payroll Institute (NPI).
You’ll learn to use industry-standard software such as Sage 50, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office while developing the skills to manage budgets, process payroll, create financial reports and understand Canadian payroll legislation and tax requirements.
With ongoing instructor support and flexible study options, you’ll gain the confidence to apply your skills in real-world settings. You can complete your training through a shorter 33-week self-study option or our 60-week on-campus program, which includes a 10-week internship where you can put your skills into practice and build valuable workplace experience.
Career Opportunities
Career services include resume and cover letter assistance, interview preparation and updates on relevant job openings, helping you put your best foot forward as you begin exploring new opportunities. These may include positions as a Payroll and Benefits Administrator, Bookkeeper, Accounting Assistant, Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk or Junior Accountant.
