Pharmacy Assistant

Whether you’re starting fresh, changing careers or looking for a role where you can make a difference in people’s daily lives, Eastern College’s Pharmacy Assistant diploma program can help you build the knowledge and confidence to pursue opportunities in the pharmacy field.

In classrooms designed to simulate real pharmacy environments, you’ll develop skills in pharmacology, pharmacy math, compounding, prescription processing, inventory management and pharmacy operations. You’ll also gain experience managing confidential records, handling third-party billing and working effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Because your training takes place in a setting that reflects real pharmacy workplaces, you’ll become familiar with the equipment, procedures and responsibilities you’ll use on the job. A 6-week internship gives you the chance to apply those skills in the field, further strengthening your confidence while providing valuable real-world pharmacy experience as you transition from the classroom into your new career.
